Midlife Career Transition Coach for Corporate Professionals

Shelley McIntyre

For professionals in their 40s and 50s leaving corporate and figuring out what comes next.

I work with midlife professionals who are leaving corporate — or seriously considering it — and want structured support for what comes next. Not a mindset shift. Not early retirement. A new chapter with substance.

The work is practical and high-touch. It’s also slower and deeper than most career coaching because the career question and the identity question turn out to be the same question.

I work with a small number of clients each year in my 5-month Reinvention Partnership Program.

Own Your Edge: A 90-Minute Career Clarity Session

The starting point for the 5-month program is a focused 90-minute strategic session where we uncover what’s blocking you and map your next three moves.

We’ll focus on three critical areas:

Identify what's misaligned:

Take a clear-eyed look at the gap between who you are and the role you’re performing, and why it’s costing you more than you realize.

Name what you’ve outgrown:

Examine the structures, routines, and roles that are holding you back. Reflect on times when you were working at your upper limit.

Uncover your growth edge:

Identify skills to leverage, underdeveloped talents, and capacities to increase as you build what’s next.

I’ll ask you for some information up front to surface how you want to show up and what’s in the way. After our session, I’ll provide a recap with key insights and personalized recommendations

Not sure if you’re ready? That’s a reasonable place to start.

If you complete the Own Your Edge session and find that you’d like more support to navigate your transition, we can flow right into the 5-month program.
