Midlife Career Transition Coach for Corporate Professionals
For professionals in their 40s and 50s leaving corporate and figuring out what comes next.
For professionals in their 40s and 50s who are leaving corporate, or seriously considering it, and want real support for what comes next. Forget the mindset shift or the pivot workshop. This is a genuine reckoning with who you are now and what you actually want to build.
The work is practical and high-touch. It’s also slower and more honest than most career coaching, because what looks like a career question usually turns out to be an identity question in disguise.
I work with a small number of clients each year in my 5-month Reinvention Partnership.
How the work unfolds
There’s no curriculum here, no modules, and no assigned reading.
The early sessions tend to have more shape to them. We use the Enneagram assessment and values work to build a foundation; most people need that grounding before the bigger questions become answerable. From there, what you bring to each session drives where we go.
Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want to dig into. Others show up with something that happened that week and we follow that. Both are fine. The structure loosens as your own clarity builds.
Know who you actually are now
Corporate careers are good at telling you who to be. After a while, it’s hard to know which parts of your professional identity still fit and which ones you’ve been performing out of habit. We start here, with what’s actually true about you at this point in your life.
Get honest about what's in the way
Most people who come to me aren’t stuck because they lack information. They’re stuck because something else has been running the show: fear, loyalty to an old story, a risk calculus that no longer adds up. Naming it tends to shift things.
Figure out what you want to build
With some clarity on who you are and what’s been in the way, the question of what’s next gets more tractable. We work through your real priorities, the problems you want to engage with, and what a livelihood that fits could look like. The answer doesn’t have to be final. It just has to be honest.
Test it before you commit
We design low-stakes ways for you to gather real information: conversations, experiments, small moves. So you’re making decisions based on something more reliable than anxiety. By the end, you have a direction you’ve actually tested.
Own Your Edge: A 90-Minute Career Clarity Session
If you’re not sure whether you’re ready for a five-month commitment, this is where to start. In 90 minutes, we get specific about what isn’t working, and what you might double down on.
We look at three things:
Where you're misaligned
The gap between who you are now and the role you’re still performing, and what it’s costing you.
What you’ve outgrown:
The structures, identities, and assumptions that made sense once and don’t fit anymore.
Where your edge is:
The skills, capacities, and instincts worth building on as you figure out what’s next.
I’ll ask for some information beforehand. After the session, you’ll get a written recap with key observations and suggested next steps.
This is also the entry point to the Reinvention Partnership. If it feels like the right fit, we can talk about what continuing would look like.
If you’re not sure whether you’re ready, that’s a pretty normal place to be. The Own Your Edge session is a good place to find out.
